As the ideal candidate, you are passionate about metrics, deeply inquisitive, have strong analytical skills, and understand the role that data storytelling can play in informing our customer experience.

You will partner with business stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Research, and Design to drive business impact with recommendations you uncover through data. You will own analytics for one or more of Vendr’s product areas and partner directly with business owners to inform our direction and growth. You will monitor the health of your domain, help plan and execute multivariate tests, and make data-driven recommendations to help Vendr scale.

Responsibilities

  • Data Reporting – Help define and manage key performance indicators for your functional area. Create dashboards and insight reports to streamline learnings for key stakeholders.
  • Data Storytelling – Go beyond reporting by telling a story through data. Create insights, champion the impact of data-driven decision making, and support the execution of OKRs.
  • Domain Expertise: Understand our market, the competitive landscape, the gaps and opportunities in our product experience, and uncover opportunities through data analysis.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ideate, and execute strategic business initiatives that directly impact our product experience.
  • Analytics Quality: Improve analytics quality and efficiency in collaboration with Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Data Engineers
  • Customer Obsession: Keep a tight pulse on product sentiment, and to help identify and prioritize opportunities at the intersection of qualitative and quantitative data.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in data analytics. Must include marketplace or eCommerce experience.
  • Deep familiarity with product led growth, marketplace and eCommerce metrics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as MixPanel, Tableau, GA4, et. al.
  • Experience with rapid experimentation cycles and A/B testing
  • Startup experience, with a proven track record in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence non-technical audiences

The estimated base salary range for this position is $76,500 to $108,000.
