Honor is looking for a talented Senior Counsel, Regulatory and Compliance to join its growing legal department. You will provide counseling in a wide range of legal areas, including regulatory compliance, employment law, risk management and dispute resolution. You will work directly with a variety of departments across the company, serving as lead counsel on strategic projects, providing day-to-day advice, and resolving issues that arise across the business.

About the work:

  • Working closely with cross-functional leaders throughout the organization to ensure that the company’s service offerings and technology platform are developed and delivered in compliance with applicable legal requirements, with a strong focus on regulatory and employment law compliance
  • Assessing and mitigating risks associated with the company’s services
  • Remaining up-to-date on relevant laws and industry standards
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance for the company and its subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions
  • Overseeing the investigation and resolution of claims and disputes that arise in the course of the company’s business

About you:

  • Strong academic credentials
  • 7+ years of legal experience in the field of regulatory, compliance or risk mitigation
  • Bar admission in good standing
  • Experience managing others a plus
  • Sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to provide independent and strategic thinking about legal matters while also participating successfully in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and follow through to meet deadlines
  • Deep understanding of the company’s operational and business model
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Embracing of the 24/7 nature of home care
