This mission has become urgent. Ukraine is engaged in a war for survival with Russia. China regularly flies nuclear-capable bombers into Taiwan and Japan’s airspace. The US and our allies are fighting a war of deterrence with woefully outdated technology.
We build software to support these missions, including providing battlefield information to allies, identifying malign activity, and helping the US deter and deescalate conflict.

This role will be building internal operations functions from 0 to 1 across the business. The role will be shaped depending on your skill set, but will include some combination of people operations, facilities / SCIF strategy, product operations, and marketing, Over the last 18 months, we’ve experienced a lot of growth, >10xing our revenue and ~3xing our customer base. We raised >$90M of venture capital and became profitable. At the same time, our internal operations functions are relatively immature, and your job will be critical to building the foundation needed to support growth.
The ideal candidate for the position has startup experience and has done the 0 to 1 part of standing up operations functions in the past.
What you’ll do in the first 6 months:
- People operations – stand up people operations function, including standing up performance reviews, manager training, promotion / raise theory, etc.
- Defense specific operations – figure out our SCIF facilities strategy and implement the initial phases of it
- Other high priority internal operations projects as necessary
Qualifications
- Startup experience strongly encouraged
- Experience building and implementing some internal operations functions at high growth tech companies
- Service mindset – We think of internal operations as support / customer service functions for the engineering, product
