As the Revenue and Billing Operations Manager at Vanta, you will play a major role in our Order to Cash process and oversee the customer billing lifecycle ensuring operational excellence in accuracy of customer invoicing, cash receipts and providing excellent customer service to our customers. In addition, you will also help support our internal teams, assisting in all billing related inquiries, and support month-end close operations.


What you’ll do as a Revenue and Billing Operations Manager at Vanta:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to optimize revenue and billing operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Account Management, GTM Operations & Systems, and Legal to identify areas for enhancing the customer experience and streamline Order-to-Cash processes
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and implement scalable solutions to improve collection processes and billing accuracy
  • Assist with continuous process improvement and development of automated systems including implementation and enhancements to Billing and Collection tools
  • Continue to develop and implement policies and procedures to scale with the business
  • Analyze AR data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in collections processes
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to manage credit risk effectively
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing operations, revenue collection, and customer billing


How to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years experience working in billing in a SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and guiding staff to achieve operational excellence in revenue and billing operations
  • Proficiency in Zendesk, Salesforce, NetSuite (or similar ERP systems), Stripe,, and Tesorio
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, problem solve, and take initiative
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and lead complex initiatives

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The salary or OTE range for this position is $128,000 – $151,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
