Regional Director of Operations Must Have Proven Experience in Dental Practice Leadership
Are you a seasoned dental operations leader ready to bring your expertise to a high-impact role with a rapidly growing, doctor-led dental group? We are actively seeking a Regional Director of Operations with direct, proven experience in multi-site dental practice leadership to oversee a strategic, multi-state region spanning Illinois, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
This is not an entry-level or learning-on-the-job opportunity. We are looking for someone who has already led multiple dental practices within a DSO, DPO, or large private groupsomeone who understands the nuances of supporting owner-doctors, managing performance, and building high-functioning teams.
What Youll Do:
Lead Multi-Site Operations: Oversee a portfolio of supported dental practices across Illinois, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, ensuring business and clinical excellence at every location.
Drive Performance: Own the regions success through active management of P&Ls, collections, payroll, staffing, expense controls, and patient satisfaction.
Support Owner-Doctors: Serve as a trusted advisor and problem-solver to affiliated dentists, enabling their practices to thrive while maintaining alignment with operational goals.
Mentor & Manage: Develop and lead high-performing office managers, instill accountability, and nurture a culture of transparency and results.
Streamline & Scale: Identify operational gaps and implement solutions that improve efficiency and elevate patient care across all practices.
Travel Regionally: Maintain a regular, in-person presence across your assigned locations; regional travel with overnight stays required.
What You Must Bring:
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in dental operations
Multi-site leadership experience is REQUIREDmust have directly managed operations for multiple dental offices
Strong background with a DSO, DPO, or large private dental group
Solid command of P&L management, budgeting, collections, and operational KPIs
In-depth knowledge of dental workflows, clinical coordination, and team dynamics
Confident leader with exceptional communication and organizational skills
Proven ability to support doctor-partners while building engaged, high-performing teams
Must be based in the Midwest and willing to travel across Illinois, Indiana, and Pennsylvania
