Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute test cases, plans and scripts to validate software functionality and performance
- Collaborate with developers and designers to identify, analyze and resolve defects
- Document and communicate test results, bug reports, and status updates to the development team and project managers
- Participate in product design and review to ensure that quality considerations are incorporated throughout the development process
- Develop and maintain a test automation framework for regression testing
- Create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies
- Proactively identify and recommend improvements to the quality assurance process
- Work collaboratively across the Gravity Engineering team with other QA Engineers on best practices and common techniques
Preferred Skills
- Must have 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and testing practices
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the payments industry
Technical requirements:
- Must have access to a wired internet connection
- Must have access to at least a 25 megabits per second (mbps) download and 20 mbps upload speed connection
The salary for this position is $82,000-102,000.
