QA Engineer – Portals Team

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test cases, plans and scripts to validate software functionality and performance
• Collaborate with developers and designers to identify, analyze and resolve defects
• Document and communicate test results, bug reports, and status updates to the development team and project managers
• Participate in product design and review to ensure that quality considerations are incorporated throughout the development process
• Develop and maintain a test automation framework for regression testing
• Create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies
• Proactively identify and recommend improvements to the quality assurance process
• Work collaboratively across the Gravity Engineering team with other QA Engineers on best practices and common techniques

Preferred Skills

• Must have 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and testing practices
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools
• Strong programming skills in at least one programming language
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the payments industry

Technical requirements: 

• Must have access to a wired internet connection
• Must have access to at least a 25 megabits per second (mbps) download and 20 mbps upload speed connection

The salary for this position is $82,000-102,000.
