As a Public Relations Manager at Amwell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining positive relationships with industry analysts. You will be the key liaison between our organization and influential analysts in the healthcare technology sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the healthcare technology landscape.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry analysts to ensure a favorable perception of Amwell
  • Engage with analysts regularly to provide updates on our products, market positioning, and business strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations strategy aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information for analyst briefings, presentations, and reports
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide valuable insights to internal stakeholders
  • Utilize analyst feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies
  • Coordinate and facilitate analyst briefings, inquiries, and meetings during industry events
  • Manage the logistics of analyst-related events, ensuring a positive experience for both analysts and internal teams
  • Work closely with the marketing, PR, social, and content teams to create compelling content that resonates with analysts and supports our positioning in the market
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities and their interactions with industry analysts
  • Establish and manage an executive briefing program, ensuring that key executives are well-prepared for analyst interactions
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing and mitigating any potential negative perceptions from analysts
  • Develop strategies for building positive relationships with influencers who can impact the industry narrative

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in analyst relations, external communications, marketing, or a related role within the healthcare technology industry
  • Familiarity with relevant analyst firms and their methodologies
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work individually as well as with a broad team of people to achieve an end goal.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and self-sufficiently and while working with remote team members and remote cross function teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift frequently
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and/or digital health space is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
