Day – 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care job. A Brief Overview Under general direction, directs, manages and executes special projects for the Controller’s Office department. Manages scope, budget, expenditures, funding, and schedules for finance projects, and oversees teams of consultants and other personnel performing those functions. Acts as a liaison between the client/users and all other project participants including consultants, contractors, and vendors. Analyzes opportunities for departmental and high-level organizational enhancement. Creates and manages scope and schedules for finance projects, and oversees teams of consultants and other personnel performing those functions; manages multiple project administrative activities. Assesses project risks and issues and provides solutions where applicable. Shares relevant documentation and reports with Business Process Group owners (project teams) Provides timely and frequent status updates to the Project Sponsor(s) and/or Executive/Operating Steering Committee(s) Develops project plans and resources estimates, monitoring and tracking project execution and ensuring budgets and timelines are met. Facilitates working sessions and makes presentations to internal and external audiences. Manages all finance policy development and review process; Works on hospital-wide policy issues. Provides financial management subject matter expertise to project teams and directs day-to -day project activities accordingly. Researches and analyzes data from internal and external (benchmark) sources. Reviews all entity contracts in collaboration with Vice Presidents and is responsible for re-negotiating contracts. Serves as the primary project/planning liaison between stakeholders, departments and external agencies. Trains, coaches, and mentors project owners; consistently transfer skills. Coordinates hiring new employees, and gives initial department orientation and reviews departmental education requirements. Proactively seeks innovative ways to streamline operations and follows through on implementing new processes. Works with various departments, develops relationships with key stakeholders, and understands their departmental workflows. Provide administrative support as needed. Oversee equipment and supplies allocation as needed. Perform other tasks as requested. Education Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $54.22 – $71.84 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
