The Project Manager is the primary liaison between the company’s internal field, engineering teams, sales, finance and an end customer for a particular service installation. The position involves heavy levels of internal and customer facing communication. The primary objectives are providing excellent customer service and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with customer and company expectations.



  • Manage the implementation of all managed services offerings to ensure project deployments are completed on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.  Set/adjust priorities, resolve conflicts, communicate and coordinate to achieve completion objectives.
  • Document, track, and report on current and pending project progress and milestones. Including providing an accurate forecast for all project related revenue producing deliverables.
  • Handle and resolve customer problems that are escalated for management attention.
  • Organize and coordinate all internal organizations for the timely and accurate implementation of large, complex projects.
  • Interface directly with customers to communicate implementation schedule, on-going project status, issues and responses to questions. The communication vehicle will be via face-to-face meetings, email, and/or conference calls at regularly scheduled intervals.
  • Adhere to defined processes and procedures to ensure internal systems are updated timely and accurately such that all departments within the company will have the necessary data to perform their tasks in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct and document regular status updates with relevant vendors and customers in a frequency appropriate to the activity scope, timing, and impact.  Contribute to periodic vendor reviews and exchanges to encourage and enable vendors to improve in their delivery and support to Zayo.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement activities in the overall implementations arena.  The scope of influence includes customers, vendors, and all ENA internal functions and teams.

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years telecom experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability/willingness to operate in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Desire to grow within the company
  • Analytical/critical thinking ability
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Word)
  • Familiar with Smartsheet, Salesforce and other Project management software
  • Computer acumen


Base pay range: $78,500 – $112,100, commensurate with experience
