As an early member of our product operations organization, you will support Ramp’s growth and savings offerings for our customers as we scale. This role supports the savings team, which was previously Buyer and Ramp’s first acquisition. You will leverage data to identify opportunities for our users, build out automation, help manage contract analysis, and increase our overall operational efficiency in how we generate the Negotiation business line. You’ll work closely with relationship managers, account managers, account executives and the rest of the company to define ways to help Ramp scale savings.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct contract analysis and support the savings team as we scale procurement-as-a-service to our customers
  • Analyze client spend to provide pricing and quotes for the Negotiation product line
  • Research SaaS vendors to inform qualifications and benchmarking data
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings for our users
  • Partner with the Sales and Revenue Operations team to operationalize and improve the Paid Negotiations Sales Motion
  • Define updates and improvements in product specs in partnership with product and engineering
  • Leverage data to identify opportunities on how we can improve the product experience, savings experience, and overall value brought to customers
  • Help define the roadmap for the savings team’s vision and mission as Ramp continues to scale

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 1 year working in product operations, business analyst, or deal desk roles
  • Strong ability to use data to identify opportunities
  • Solid understanding of how SaaS/IT contracts work
  • Ability to work in undefined spaces with strong attention to detail
  • Strong investigative and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with and expanding on internally used tools (dashboards)
  • Excellent communication, especially when summarizing complicated billing structures

Nice to Haves

  • Experience querying data via SQL
  • Experience in SaaS Sales
  • Experience with Retool, Looker, and Salesforce
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills

Compensation

  • The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $80,750-$95,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
