As a Product Marketing Manager at Freshpaint, you will play a crucial role in driving our expansion into adjacent markets, working closely with strategic teams to identify and enter new verticals. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying potential adjacent markets, validating your hypotheses, equipping the strategic team to succeed in these markets, crafting compelling messaging and positioning, and leading impactful product launches. You will also create assets and collateral to support our growth objectives. Through cross-functional collaboration, you will ensure alignment with our business goals, helping to expand Freshpaint’s market presence and drive sustained growth. Your contributions will be key to uncovering new opportunities and establishing Freshpaint in emerging areas.
What you’ll do
- Lead the development and ongoing management of a comprehensive strategy focused on expanding Freshpaint into adjacent markets, equipping sales, customer success, and marketing teams with the tools, training, and support needed to drive growth in these new areas.
- Collaborate closely with strategic teams to identify and pursue new verticals, developing compelling assets and messaging that resonate with target audiences beyond our current ICP, effectively expanding Freshpaint’s presence in new markets.
- Assist and lead product launches that ignite interest, uncover growth opportunities, and significantly boost awareness and adoption.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align market expansion initiatives with business goals, ensuring cohesive and seamless execution.
- Track the performance of market expansion strategies and initiatives, adjusting tactics as needed to achieve optimal results and further Freshpaint’s reach.
Requirements – what you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with a strong background in enablement, product launches, messaging and positioning, and competitive intelligence.
- Proven track record of successfully expanding products into adjacent markets with an enterprise product (ACV $100k+). A major part of our interview process will be used to validate this experience so come prepared with real world examples of your super powers here.
- Exceptional project management skills, adept at planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- You obsess over the details. Execution is a must. Moving fast is mandatory.
