Product Manager, Recommendations

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for recommendation algorithms and features, aligning with Upwork’s overall product vision and business objectives.
• Drive user engagement by delivering personalized and relevant recommendations across various user touchpoints, including job suggestions, freelancer matches, and content recommendations.
• Utilize data analysis and user feedback to understand user behavior, preferences, and needs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and other product managers, to implement and iterate on recommendation solutions.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of recommendation algorithms, iterating on approaches to continuously improve performance.
• Communicate recommendation strategies, findings, and performance metrics to internal stakeholders, including leadership, product teams, and other relevant departments.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to recommendations and user personalization.

The annual base salary for this position in California and Washington is $149,000-185,00
