As the Sources Product Manager (PM) you will have a critical role, driving the development and continual enhancement of our database products, ensuring its alignment with customer needs and company goals and leading a diverse team of engineers.
The key responsibilities of this role are multifaceted, spanning product planning, customer interaction, data source management, technology decision-making and team leadership.
The ideal candidate will be deeply analytical, have a strong product background and experience working on data products. Prior experience in the background checks industry and/or with web scraping is a plus.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement product strategies and plans while balancing various aspects of development, understanding which areas require priority and effectively communicating these decisions to the team.
- Work with the engineering teams to maintain and enhance database sources, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Identify & evaluate opportunities for new data sources that could potentially add value to our product or our customers
- Work directly with customers to gauge their problem and needs and ensure that the product effectively meets them.
- Oversee decisions on the scraping technology used and its implementation and work with the engineering teams to ensure these decisions are aligned with long term strategy and customer needs.
- Lead and work with a team of about 20 engineers, providing clear guidelines for project objectives, conveying the vision of the product and ensuring smooth collaboration within the team.
What you bring
- 3+ years as a PM at a B2B Enterprise and/or SaaS company
- Proven ability to manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way
- Excellent attention to detail in a high performance environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in any of the following is a plus: Background checks industry, web scraping, data products

The salary range for this role is $82,323 to $171,350.
