Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

We’re looking for an outstanding product manager who is not bound by the existing paradigms of traditional banks. This role is part of the Consumer Credit Point of Sale team, responsible for consumer credit, underwriting and loan economics across the entire portfolio of merchants and channel partnerships. In joining this team, you will be at the center of Affirm’s credit strategy to expand our footprint into new verticals, geographies, and product offerings. The team drives innovative solutions that fuel all end user experiences in the US and globally while partnering with a wide variety of teams including but not limited to product, engineering, analytics, design,  marketing, legal, capital, commercial and more. This role reports to the Staff Product Manager of the Consumer Credit Point of Sale team.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive product strategy in collaboration with your peers in Credit engineering and analytics
  • Define new products and features with specs, wireframes, and product flows
  • Analyze the impact of product features and define metrics for success
  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner of our Credit, Commercial, and Engineering teams
  • Become recognized as a domain expert in the subject matter that drives point of sale underwriting and decisioning
  • Collaborate across functions – including engineering, design, analytics, legal, compliance, marketing, commercial, pricing and others – to successfully launch and scale credit products
  • Collaborate across product teams to support initiatives that interface with Affirm’s Credit capabilities (e.g., international expansion, large merchant integrations, and new product verticals)

  • Results: Experience shipping simple, elegant user-facing products with measurable impact to the bottom line.
  • Product experience: Minimum 2 years of prior product or relevant experience in consumer finance, payments, or underwriting is a plus.

USA Pacific base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $138,800 – $208,200
USA Sapphire base pay range (all other U.S. states): $124,900 – $187,300
