Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation of and drive compliance with Plaid’s internal and external privacy and data policies, procedures, and governance
  • Advocate for privacy goals and values to both internal (the Plaid executive staff team and our board) and external (press, events) stakeholders
  • Influence product leaders across the organization to ensure we are building the product and solutions that maintains Privacy as a first design principle
  • Partner with the Chief Legal Officer to define the vision and long-term strategy for Privacy at Plaid, and inspire stakeholders to execute
  • Partner with an amazing team across engineering, legal and policy, sales, product marketing, design and operations to build new solutions
  • Bring in the mindset of continuous improvement and sensible prioritization by deciding what we should do, why, and when

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry experience building and/or influencing products with strong privacy outcomes
  • You have worked as the single-threaded leader to drive initiatives across multiple product groups, legal and policy teams, and senior leaders to build solutions that impact an entire ecosystem of participants
  • You are comfortable speaking at industry events, presenting to the executive staff team/board of directors and engaging with a broad range of external stakeholders (press, policy teams, social media)
  • You can work with senior Engineering stakeholders across the company to design, build and deliver product outcomes
  • Experience working on issues that involve regulatory or legal considerations, as well as brand implications
  • Customer centric – you thrive on spending time directly with customers, establishing close relationships, and becoming their go to partner
  • Metrics and impact driven – you have a keen sense of translating customer needs into product solutions that create value and drive business outcomes
  • Set the pace – you understand the scale of the opportunity ahead of you and move with urgency to deliver meaningful impact to our customers

$204,120.00 – $360,000.00 per year
