We’re looking for an experienced Producer to join our Mobile Games team! This position is the glue that holds the development and publishing teams together, driving the day-to-day work that keeps our games fresh, player-focused, and engaging!

While 2K is headquartered in Novato, California, our team is fully remote working West Coast hours and overlapping with Asian development partners.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the 2K Mobile Executive Producer, you will manage the developer relationship and publishing pipeline for our RPG+ mobile products. This is a high-autonomy, individual contributor role that will work with internal and external teams to steer our efforts in successfully building, operating and servicing our mobile games. Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with developers to define milestones and sprint deliverables, then drive the successful delivery of these objectives. Ensure completed milestones pass exit criteria and delight our customers.
  • Maintain a cross-functional project roadmap that tracks releases, future content, and current development/publishing risks. Identify and cut low-priority work to increase high-priority execution.
  • Project-manage the tasks of the publishing team. Lead weekly stand ups and own weekly production reporting to ensure everyone has visibility on each other’s work and are working towards common goals.
  • Coordinate releases with 2K’s QA, Localization, Customer Service, and Legal Clearance teams.
  • Build production processes and workflows with dev partners. Optimize the ways we communicate and build service-based mobile games to maximize time and resources.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

  • Self-starter with experience breaking problems down to incremental steps.
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills (written and oral). You know how to start and close a productive conversation, and your presentations tell a cohesive story.
  • Proven ability to work with creative and technical partners across cultures and time zones. Adept at MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Google equivalents.
  • Highly organized and an effective multi-tasker. Strong time and project management skills. Can focus on multiple projects while meeting changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to identify and analyze risks while leading mitigation support.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge and love for 2K franchises (Borderlands, BioShock, NBA2K, WWE2K, XCOM, Civilization) preferred.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese is a plus.

Location: Remote (supporting West Coast hours)
