This role sits within the ZOE PR, Corporate Communications & Talent team, You’ll be instrumental in supporting our bustling press office, collaborating closely with PR & Communications Managers in both the UK and US, and directly contributing to the vision of our Global Head of Communications. 👥 The Team
The ZOE PR, Corporate Communications & Talent team executes closely with the wider Marketing team and delivers on all aspects of the PR and communications for the business to continue ZOE’s position as a category leader in health and nutrition. As a team, we work smarter, not harder, to deliver impactful results for ZOE.
The ZOE press office receives numerous national print and digital requests a week, and the team works closely with top consumer titles on a weekly basis. ZOE’s scientists regularly release novel science, giving the team lots of amazing stories to pitch to our strong list of media contacts.
Important note: This position is suited for candidates based in the UK or the USA. If based in the USA, candidates must be located within the Eastern Time Zone (Boston time) or nearby, to ensure at least 50% overlap of working hours with the UK team. Applications not meeting these location/time zone requirements will not be considered.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

    • Own our daily media monitoring and ensuring key press coverage is shared internally, keeping everyone informed and inspired.
    • Build and nurturing valuable relationships with key journalists across national, consumer, science and trade press in both the US and UK. Your ability to connect and communicate will be key!
    • Seamlessly managing essential tasks like daily coverage tracking, ongoing media landscape analysis in both the UK and the US and weekly and quarterly reports.
    • Developing targeted media lists for impactful campaigns, helping us reach the right audiences.
    • Manage our media gifting process, working with Customer Support to ensure all tier 1 media have a great ZOE experience
    • Collaborating closely with US and UK PR & Communications Managers to help draft briefing documents, bylines, media pitches and press releases that capture attention.
    • Providing essential support for all our proactive and reactive press office, including podcast pitching for our ZOE spokespeople, campaign launches, events and strategic product send-outs.
    • Support our ZOE spokespeople in building and maintaining their public profiles, helping to arrange their media engagements with their EAs
    • Support the team with external ambassador management and identify exciting press opportunities.

🧠 What You’ll Bring to the Table

      • A genuine curiosity and keen interest in nutrition, science and health.
      • Have a degree or relevant work experience in journalism, PR and communications.
      • Highly organised and exceptionally detail-oriented.
      • A strong command of spelling, grammar and proofreading
      • Are media and news-obsessed and get your news from a wide variety of different sources
      • Highly motivated, proactive and eager to learn, especially in our remote-first working environment
      • Excellent time-keeping skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight media deadlines, all while maintaining high-quality output. You thrive under pressure!
      • Are a natural team player. A fantastic collaborator who enjoys working with others and is eager to get involved and contribute to a supportive team dynamic

      • 📝 Async Communication Exercise: Take-home task – max 2 days to complete
Reviewed by our UK and US Senior PR & Communications Managers
You’ll receive a short brief asking you to respond as if you were already part of the team. This might involve writing a pitch or internal update, creating a media list, or suggesting outreach angles — nothing too time-consuming, just a way to see how you think and communicate.
      • 🎤 Final Interview: 60 mins – With the Head nutritionist and Global Head of comms
A behavioural-style interview, where we’ll explore how you collaborate with others, work under pressure, and bring creativity to your work. We’ll also dedicate time to ask questions about your async task — giving you a chance to walk us through your thinking.
      • 🎉 Stage 4: Offer
If all goes well, we’ll move to offer quickly and clearly. You’ll know what to expect at every step of the way.
