Gather is looking for a People Operations Manager/Sr Manager to build our people practices, serve as a business partner to our growing departments, and deliver a world-class experience for our employees across the globe. In this role, you will own all things people-related and shape a company culture where everyone is empowered to bring their best selves to work. Where you will make an impact
- Define and implement our overall People Ops strategy and operating model
- Own and build all People programs and policies across the employee lifecycle – onboarding and offboarding, performance management, learning & development, total rewards & benefits, people analytics, employee experience, and compliance
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure that we are building a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Create a learning and development program for our employees that supports an environment of continuous learning and improvement
- Partner closely with department heads to advise on all people matters, support the rollout of company-wide communication and initiatives, and ensure our core values are integrated into everything we do
- Manage our HR systems and technology, ensuring data integrity across all employee platforms and identifying opportunities for improvement
What you will bring
- 5-7 years of hands-on People Ops experience in a high-growth start up environment
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals with expert knowledge of employment laws, immigration policies, and compliance
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive people-centered decisions
- Proven ability to build trust and healthy relationships across an entire organization
- Self-starter mentality with a commitment to excellence and the ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence
