As Headway’s People Operations Associate, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our 500+ employees & 500+ contingent workers across the US. We’re looking for a gritty, relationship-obsessed team player to support Headway’s human hypergrowth to galvanize our progress towards our mission.

As an early member of the People Ops function, you’ll have direct exposure to all dimensions of People Operations in this high-visibility role, though initial focus will primarily be on the areas below. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone interested in developing their People Ops toolkit in a dynamic, high-growth and mission-driven environment.

You will:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding SOPs of full time employees and contingent workers, identifying ways to improve and scale
  • Lead our People Tickets Infrastructure — including triage and ensuring coverage in most People ops AORs

You’d be a great fit if:

  • You have a minimum of 2-years of experience working on an HR/people team at a high growth technology start-up in an operational capacity
  • You love to build new things and are extremely passionate about building relationships
  • You have a curiosity and drive to learn the ins and outs of People Ops
  • You can multitask and work quickly without sacrificing attention to detail
  • You are resourceful and ready to help others whenever needed

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary information is based on a single salary target per role and is differentiated based on geographic location (Group A, B, or C)
    • Group A = NYC/Tri-State Area, SF/Bay Area, LA Area, Seattle, Boston, Austin, and San Diego
    • Group B = Chicago, Miami, Denver, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Nashville, Sacramento, Phoenix, and Portland
    • Group C = All remaining cities
    • Group A: $85,000
    • Group B: $76,500
    • Group C: $68,000
