Position Summary: The Partnerships Manager is responsible for guiding assigned partners through every stage of the partner lifecycle – ensuring the best onboarding experience for these partners while enabling VergeSense to reach more prospects, efficiently acquire new customers, and better address our customers’ strategic & technological needs. As a trusted advisor to VergeSense partners, The Partnerships Manager will leverage an in-depth understanding of VergeSense products & platform and our partner’s unique strengths to acquire and grow customers globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Source, recruit, and manage a portfolio of key partners and meet and exceed quarterly/annual growth and pipeline targets. •Develop and execute a win-win strategy for your portfolio that drives value to all parties and positions VergeSense as the partner of choice in Occupancy Intelligence.
•Sourced and executed joint sales and co-marketing initiatives to drive new business sales pipelines.
•Develop integrated GTM strategies for incorporating VergeSense products and services into our partners’ product and service offerings.
•Develop deep knowledge of your assigned clients’ business and become the go-to source for all partner information for internal and external stakeholders.
•Educate partners on all product, policy, and process changes – driving adoption amongst their book of business.
•Establish commercial incentives to motivate partners to promote VergeSense’s offerings.
•Conduct 1:1 training of partner sales, customer/partner success and other GTM teams.
•Serve as the primary POC for designated partner-related comms, escalations, and all cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
•5+ years of professional experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, and/or Channel Sales role.
•Strong, demonstrable partner management experience with a strong track record of successfully growing a book of business and building enduring and successful partner relationships.
•Experience in Workplace Technology, Smart Buildings, IOT, and Real Estate is preferred. Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, legal, marketing, and sales operations and enablement teams.
•Ability to manage complex programs and multi-task with excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing startup environment.
•Fluent verbal/written communication and presentation skills in English.
Base Salary: $85,000-$87,800 USD annually
Total on-target earnings for the role are: $142,000-$163,000 USD annually
