At ASB, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build functional systems that improve customer experience, we are now looking for an Originations Processing Associate.  Core responsibilities include subject matter expertise on company and partner policies related to CIP and KYC, and processing credit applications in accordance with those policies and procedures.  If you have a solid background working in a processing capacity in a lending environment, we’d love to speak with you.
Objectives of this Role:
The Origination Processing Associate will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills by implementing the company’s fraud and compliance policies. This position will allow you to build your business acumen and financial product knowledge to develop your career at Amount Small Business.

What you’ll work on:

    • Becoming a subject-matter expert on company policies related to Fraud, Customer Information Program (CIP) and Know-Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
    • Processing loan applications to ensure compliance with company policies. (CIP, KYC, Fraud)
    • Reviewing applicant documentation for quality control and red flags, escalating issues when necessary.
    • Partnering with our sales team by providing guidance for resolving issues outside of company policies.
    • Using MS Office programs to create, audit and deliver loan documentation to our customers.
    • Moderate inbound and outbound customer call volume.

Who you are:

    • Strong organizational skills with the flexibility to balance and prioritize urgent competing tasks.
    • Strong analytical skills; logically and operationally minded with attention to detail and risk management.
    • Intermediate MS Office skills, especially Excel and MS Word.
    • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, responsibly and productively.
    • Enthusiastic team-centric personality with the desire to learn, grow and be coached.
    • 2 years experience excelling in a fast-paced production environment preferred.
    • Previous experience working in a loan processing/closing role is a plus.
