Guild is seeking a Media Producer/Editor to help build and run our internal video function! Reporting to the Creative Director, you will:
- Produce and edit a wide range of video and photo content covering topics across Guild — working with partners through creative brief ideation to execution.
- Lead production and post-production for video content within the Creative team both as a hands-on producer as well as a strategic partner in ideation.
- Collaborate with external video editors to execute post-production in a timely manner, including providing multiple cuts of single pieces for use in digital spaces and targeted campaigns.
- Partner with internal and external teams/agencies on larger higher-volume projects. Gather estimates, scout location and talent, manage shoot.
- Contribute to treatments for video ideas, help with the creation of scripts and shot lists, and manage a production schedule.
- Guide the production of externally-produced pieces, from animation to documentary-style clips, social cuts, etc.
- Help identify compelling story ideas and filter what should/shouldn’t be produced as a video segment vs. graphic design, infographic, still photos, or other content format.
- Establish strong cross-functional partnerships across Guild to execute the appropriate range of video projects.
- Manage resources and project timelines, inclusive of detailed budget management and working with multiple internal partners.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of video production and editing experience for a digital media agency, production house, or in-house creative team, including working with contractors and agencies, organizing shoots, preparing scripts, and supervising post-production.
- A strong portfolio of successful, high-quality impactful videos.
- Network of agencies and contractors, along with demonstrated ability to find quality videographers, editors and audio vendors as needed
- In-depth knowledge of video production/photography processes and activities.
- Possesses a strong combination of creativity and attention to detail focusing on what and how to translate/interpret an idea to completed video and final deliverables..
- Skilled at planning, budgeting, and vendor negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects with the ability to anticipate and problem solve potential hurdles.
- Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals and stakeholders
- Proficient with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, FinalCut Pro, etc.)
- Some travel to shoot locations will be required
- Video reel is required for consideration

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $85,000 – $111,250, as well as company stock options.
