Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, Influencers, and Events, the Marketing Specialist will be focused on events, campaigns and restaurant industry relations. They will have a pulse on the dining scene and get excited to create campaigns and experiences to solidify OpenTable’s role within the restaurant community. Will support the development and execution of diner and restaurant-facing events.


In this role, you will:

  • Support programs and events from conception to execution in the US, targeted at both our B2B (restaurant) and B2C (diner) audiences
  • Help develop and create our presence at external events to deepen industry relationships and promote the OpenTable brand (e.g. trade shows, food festivals, industry talks)
  • Contribute to strategic planning for B2B and B2C events and programs to help achieve company goals
  • Implement OpenTable’s events strategy: coordinate with internal and external partners, develop timelines, pull together creative assets, and execute on the ground for events including the National Restaurant Association Trade Show
  • Provide data for reports on event performance
  • Lead calls with cross-functional partners to establish the goals and objectives for each event.
  • Own the logistics for assigned events, delegating responsibilities as appropriate to cross-functional participants
  • Create and present data on the performance of certain key marketing programs, including events marketing and social media marketing, to senior leadership
  • Track contracts, payments and the approval process for vendors
  • Willing and able to travel domestically up to 20% to support events

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $64,000-74,000.
