Reporting to the Senior Manager, Rev Ops – Enablement & Optimization, this position is responsible for leading a variety of sales and services related programs and initiatives in North America. Candidates for this role must have experience in managing a team, coordinating cross-functional projects and collaborators, and manipulating large sets of data to discover trends and make recommendations on sales and services strategies. The role will partner directly with multiple departments including executive leadership, Sales, Account Management, Onboarding, Marketing, Support, Finance, and Product to support the design, implementation and continued optimization of various business needs.
The Manager-level position is expected to have an excellent understanding of the OpenTable Sales and Services organization (the full customer lifecycle from prospecting to termination), the ability to learn quickly, and manage an impactful team. This position needs to have excellent communication, presentation, project management, and data analysis skills and be comfortable building recommendations around process improvements, investments in sales tools, and strategies to increase efficiencies within the team and across RSS. Experience with Salesforce and its integrated tools (Talkdesk, Calendly, Groove) and an operations background are a must.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage a team responsible for supporting a variety of Sales and Services related programs, processes, and initiatives
- Independently lead high-visibility initiatives, including running discovery & requirements gathering sessions, building out project timelines, managing execution/testing and measuring results
- Proactively communicates with team members and project collaborators to ensure gaps are closed and needs are clearly defined
- Operate as a liaison between the Business Optimization team and the rest of the RSS org, supporting enhancement prioritization efforts and translating technical language to ensure options and next steps are easily understood
- Deliver sophisticated analytics to support the global RSS team
- Lead global sales process training in collaboration with E&E and cross-functional partners for rollouts of new systems, tools, and processes
- Monitor feature/process success against pre-defined critical metrics to find opportunities for increasing adoption
- Prepare and present data analysis for audiences ranging from field sales members to senior leadership
- Collect feedback and handle flow of inbound ad hoc requests from the RSS team
- Be responsible for sales process guides, FAQs, and related training materials
- Improve Salesforce.com (SFDC) processes and data quality/visibility
Please apply if:
- 5+ years proven experience in an Operations or Strategy role with people management responsibilities
- Sophisticated Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Sales tools (Geopointe/Salesforce Maps, Calendly, Groove), Support operations systems (Talkdesk, GetFeedback), and analytics tools (Preset, Microstrategy)
- Operational experience in measuring and improving efficiency, utilization, scaling initiatives, etc.
- Contagious passion and a willingness to take on tough projects with little direction
- Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills, including detailing business processes, use cases, requirements, and project plans
- Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities, problem solving, negotiation, task and project coordination, and organization skills
