Marigold is hiring a Manager to lead our US HR Partners. This role will be a player-coach, who will help to develop our team of HR Partners while also providing expert guidance and advice on HR matters to our US business, and participating in global HR projects. This role will report to the VP, Human Resources.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of HR Partners, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor HR team members, supporting their professional development and growth within the organization.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on US employment laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance across all HR functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support for employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Work with our Systems and Data team to maintain the HRIS system accurately as a single source of truth on all employee data.
- Conduct HR audits to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for best practices.
- Coach People Managers on leadership development questions, in line with the organization’s leadership principles.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in US HR Business Partnership and experience as a people manager. You will need to possess a deep understanding of US employment laws and regulations, along with demonstrated experience in managing a diverse range of HR functions. You should have a proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams, focusing on fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. A strategic mindset is crucial for you to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive business results and support organizational goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to handling complex employee relations issues with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years experience as an HR Business Partner with at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
