Manager, Care Advocacy
Maven is looking for a Manager of Care Advocacy to manage our global team of dynamic Care Advocates who serve our international members. Our Care Advocacy team helps both practitioners and members navigate digital care and coaches members to improve clinical outcomes. You will work alongside the management team to foster team culture and ensure we continue to deliver high quality, empathetic care for women and families in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
As a Manager of Care Advocacy at Maven, you will:
- Bring your passion for people management to oversee a team of Care Advocates
- Learn the ins and outs of Maven’s business and the day-to-day Care Advocacy responsibilities, diving in to directly master our family planning programs, communication channels, video appointment workflows, and care management processes
- Regularly participate in individual contributor coverage when there are gaps in 24/7/365 staffing, jumping in as a team player as needed
- Lead by example to ensure a culture focused on empathetic care; ensuring the needs of our members and providers are met in an exceptional manner
- Coach individual team members to achieve key performance indicators and drive outcomes
- Facilitate the team’s alignment with broader organizational objectives and effectively lead through change
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our Care Support, Care Operations, Product, Data, Provider Operations, Engineering, and Client Success teams and act as a liaison from the care team
- Participate and lead care team specific and cross-functional member-care related projects, contributing to achieving OKRs
- Other duties as assigned
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 5-7 years of experience in allied health, human services, or healthcare organizations, with 3 years of direct management experience, preferably involving international work
- Exceptional relationship management skills and commitment to delivering service excellence
- Background of diverse experience and working with remote and variable shift employees
- Strong sense of empathy applied to direct reports, members, and providers
- Savvy business judgment support for data-driven, results-oriented decision-making
- Passion for details, responsiveness and organization and an interest in helping others to learn these skills
- Passion for team motivation and community building to create an inclusive environment
- Ability to create order from chaos, and willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional helpful experiences and skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience in family planning and fertility
- Clinical licensure in a nursing, social work, or other provider-related field
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $90,000 – $120,000 per year.
