Role and Responsibilities
The objective of the Logistics Forecast Analyst is to create and manage forecasts at all key supply chain nodes from vendors, to fulfillment locations to cross-border transportation to domestic injection points to domestic returns facilities.
– Forecast Orders, Units and Inventory Levels at all key fulfillment locations by month, week and day
– Partner closely with internal global logistics team to share forecasts, review results and troubleshoot variances weekly
– Perform analytics to answer questions that will lead to improved KPI performance
– Perform analytics to increase efficiency across the supply chain including optimization based fulfillment logic, order affinity and forward inventory positioning on shore or near shore.
– Present Forecasts, Strategy and Plans weekly to executives
– May manage 1 or more individuals
Qualifications and Education Requirements
– 4-6 years in a Logistics Planning, Inventory Planning or experiences in related Analytics or Technology roles
– College Degree Required, MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management a +++
– Cross-border experience a +
Skills 
– Thorough understanding of the connectivity of all points within a supply chain and the impacts one location has on another.
– Strong Analytic Skills with experience using advanced statistical functions in Excel
– Ability to source and organize disparate data for operational use and conversion of reporting and tools into scalable technology applications
– Fluent with Google Suite
– Experience prototyping Inventory Optimization Techniques
– The ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize opportunities and minimize risks
– Strong commitment to continuously improve
– Comfort working in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment where established processes may not exist
