About the Role:
The LMS Administrator will optimize the learning technology ecosystem and leverage strong technical, analytical, and client service skills to deliver an exceptional learner experience, through:
- Supporting the organization’s new hire, compliance, role-based learning, and reporting on all learner’s activity.
- Managing the vendor relationships with our LMS system and library content partners
- Creating the strategy, implementation, utilization and optimization of the organization’s investment in learning management systems and systems that integrate into the learning management system
- Designing and developing e-learning courses, when needed.
Responsibilities:
LMS Administrator responsibilities:
- Manage the learning management system; including, enroll learners into courses, running reports, creating learning paths, scheduling instructor-led courses and webinars, coordinating certifications, and other essential systems-related maintenance.
- Design and implement scalable LMS architecture to support current and future learning needs.
- Manage the course library and monitor for out-of-date material.
- Build and maintain integrations between Docebo and Workday for seamless data exchange (user profiles, course assignments, completion tracking etc.).
- Monitor data synchronization between Docebo and Workday, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
- Import/upload learning content (SCORM, videos, etc.), and assist with the integration of third-party tools (authoring tools, video platforms etc.) with LMS
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and learner engagement.
- Optimize the functionality of the LMS to achieve high user engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide support and training for administrators, instructors, and learners.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with vendors for resolution.
- Create LMS landing pages that are engaging and maximize the utilization and completion of learning
- Develop documentation, user guides, and training materials for LMS users.
Course Developer responsibilities:
- Partner with various stakeholders and L&G team members to build learning plans
- Build courses using rapid eLearning development tools.
- Test and QA web-based courses prior to deployment.
- Use course evaluation metrics to help identify performance gaps.
- Provide thought leadership and a diverse perspective on how Cityblock can deliver best-in-class learning experiences for its employees.
Requirements for the Role:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
Experience
- 3+ years experience with Docebo or other Learning Management Systems such as Docebo, Saba, Cornerstone OnDemand, or other
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LMS platforms, including system configuration, vendor management, user permissions, and technical troubleshooting.
- Manage the configuration, maintenance, and performance of the LMS.
- Ensure system availability, functionality, and security align with organizational needs.
- Develop and enforce LMS best practices and standards for usage.
Development Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of online and blended learning best practices, instructional design methodologies, information technologies, learning management, and data management systems.
- Understanding of adult learning theories and best practices for instructional design, including experience with multimedia authoring tools.
- You have experience with rapid eLearning development tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate
- Design and develop engaging e-learning courses using tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform content into interactive learning experiences.
- Optimize courses for compatibility across devices and browsers.
