Legal Operations Lead (Part-Time)

What you’ll do

• Set up and manage our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, overseeing the entire contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and storage.

• Draft and negotiate common agreements under counsel’s direction, including NDAs, vendor and consulting agreements, partnership agreements, and DPAs.

• Develop and manage comprehensive legal department processes and playbooks to ensure Transcend’s legal team can deliver scalable and effective support across the business.

• Implement and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the commercial legal team.

• Provide versatile support across various legal projects and initiatives.

• Conduct training sessions for other departments on legal processes and compliance requirements.

• Perform independent research on evolving privacy laws and regulations globally.

• Coordinate with product marketing team and outside legal and strategies resources to prepare enablement materials for sales and product teams.

• Bachelor’s degree required; law degree, paralegal certification or deep legal operations, research or paralegal experience.

• 4-6 years of experience in legal operations, paralegal, contract management, or a similar role, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.

• Strong understanding of contract management processes and tools.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal oversight.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• CIPP/US or CIPP/E preferred. Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
