As the Lead Technical Recruiter, you will ensure that Postscript continually sources, attracts and recruits the most qualified candidates for a wide-range of technical roles. Your scope and expertise will span product, design and engineering, and your efforts will broadly impact these critical teams. You will work as a key resource, from sourcing and initial contact through interviews and accepted offer. You will partner very closely with hiring managers and actively contribute to the talent acquisition process, including defining roles and competencies, market mapping, and benchmarking compensation. You will serve as a key senior member of the Talent Acquisition team, and will partner with coworkers to continually upgrade our candidate experience, use of recruiting technology, and employer brand. Your efforts will be incredibly important to Postscript’s growth, as our ability to grow is directly impacted by your ability to recruit top talent. All positions at Postscript are fully remote.

Primary duties

  • Identify, attract and recruit the most qualified candidates for technical roles. Do so in line with the strategic initiatives of the company.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate experience, from initial contact with Postscript through accepted offers.
  • Source top tier candidates for all roles, relying heavily on outbound efforts, role-specific job boards and communities, and excellent use of sourcing technology. Access and nurture talent pools for evergreen roles, including fullstack engineering.
  • Partner very closely with hiring managers to define and launch roles. Develop job descriptions, core competencies, interview plans and sourcing strategies.
  • Manage your candidate pipelines in line with key metrics to ensure that roles are filled on timelines that meet the business needs.
  • Partner very closely with hiring managers to continually optimize the role throughout the recruiting process. Serve as a go-to resource for market mapping, compensation benchmarking, and ongoing candidate feedback.
  • Provide ongoing, consistent visibility to key funnel metrics and performance.
  • Host kickoff meetings and check-ins with the interview and hiring team. Move with urgency to secure top talent for our technical team.
  • Ensure that all aspects of your assigned roles are well documented in our applicant tracking system. Fully utilize all other available recruiting technology to ensure the optimal hiring manager and candidate experience.
  • Work with the TA team to continually improve candidate experience and build our employer brand.

What We’ll Love About You

  • 5+ years experience as a full cycle technical recruiter at high growth tech companies. SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success with hiring a broad range of technical roles, preferably in a SaaS business model.
  • Engineering, Product and Design recruiting experience required
  • Demonstrated experience with a variety of sourcing methods and tools
  • Demonstrated success and creativity with outbound sourcing efforts
  • Demonstrated success in curating an excellent candidate experience.
  • Strong desire to understand our technology stack, collaborate with Technical Leadership and implement best practices for technical recruiting.
  • Demonstrated experience with recruiting technology, including applicant tracking systems.

  • Hiring Manager Intro: You’ll hop on a quick call with the Hiring Manager so your future Manager can get to know you better — This is a great time to learn more about the team & position.
  • Virtual Onsite Interviews: You’ll be meeting with 2-4 team members on a series of video calls. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
  • Homework Assignment: We will send over an exercise that challenges you to solve a problem & come up with a creative solution, or outline how you’ve solved a problem in the past. Get a feel for what you’ll be doing on a daily basis!
