As a Lead Sales Engineer at Greenhouse, you will play a pivotal role in driving our newly-created Strategic Accounts function forward by leveraging your technical expertise and deep understanding of our full book of services. Working closely with our top Enterprise Account Executives and largest prospects, you will serve as a trusted advisor, delivering compelling product demonstrations and driving the value of our singular and combined solutions. This position also requires guiding prospective customers through the technical aspects of everything from utilizing APIs and web hooks for custom integrations to working with our business intelligence schema. Additionally, you will serve as our key liaison between Research & Development and Product Marketing to improve our ability to sell to the long-term roadmap and be the voice of the market in return.

What you’ll do

  • Make a deep, sustainable impact on our Strategic Enterprise function, both in new logo acquisition and future strategy
  • Help build out this new function, collaborating with SE leadership on everything from onboarding to continuous development opportunities
  • Lead technical discussions with prospects to identify challenges and opportunities for our SaaS offerings
  • Develop and deliver high-impact product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients
  • Architect scalable and innovative solutions that address customer pain points and deliver tangible business value
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our products, staying abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings
  • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Revenue and Security teams with the goal of driving more value for our prospective customers
  • Build new strategies and processes to improve the RFP and POC processes in this segment
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and methodologies

You should have

  • 5+ years of total Sales Engineer experience, working with a SaaS offering
  • 2+ years in a strategic, lead or management sales engineering role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a skills-relevant discipline
  • Experience working pre-sales opportunities with prospective clients
  • Experience supporting SaaS tools in the HR industry, a plus

The national pay range for this role is $190,900 – $286,400.
