The Opportunity
Kandji is looking for our first Lead Recruiting Coordinator. The ideal candidate has an operational, process-oriented mindset and impeccable attention to detail. As a Lead Recruiting Coordinator, you will partner closely with a team of Recruiting Coordinators, Recruiters and Managers to assist Kandji’s rapid growth. This position is in charge of assisting the recruitment process from scheduling interviews, to tracking candidate data, to ensuring that candidates have an amazing experience. In this role, you’ll have the ability to empower and support your own team of coordinators while implementing top of line best practices. The Lead Recruiting Coordinator must thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping teams expand and grow! This role reports to Kandji’s Director of Talent.

Day to Day

    • Lead, train, and empower a small team of recruiting coordinators to deliver an outstanding candidate and hiring experience
    • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all coordination matters to proactively identify roadblocks and set Recruiting Coordinators up for success
    • Collaborate with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and external Recruiting Partners to streamline the recruitment process
    • Run weekly/ biweekly calls with external Recruiting Partners to keep track of high-volume interview activity
    • Facilitate all things in Lever, our applicant tracking system (ATS), not limited to role approvals, job postings, system maintenance, process improvements, onboarding and user access
    • Manage and execute a seamless, timely, and data-driven recruiting process by managing complex calendars and schedules, booking candidate travel (post-COVID), and ensuring candidates have everything they need throughout the interview process
    • Drive and establish best practices for all recruiting vendors – DocuSign, Lever, Hired, LinkedIn Recruiter, Built In and other recruiting tools
    • Document, review and build current coordination process to help the company scale
    • Define Recruiting system improvements to increase the collection of accurate and timely metrics to scale for the next tier of company growth
    • Create and execute recruiting reporting processes that provide visibility and accountability, especially in regards to diversity recruiting efforts
    • Assist Director of Talent with ad hoc projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in Recruiting Coordination or Operations at a fast-growing start-up, experience with people management is a plus
    • Strong experience managing an ATS system — Lever preferred
    • Outstanding and professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Passion and interest in diversity recruiting strategy and best practices
    • Ability to work under pressure and successfully meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
    • Excellent task management skills and ability to manage multiple urgent priorities
    • Flexible, innovative, detail-oriented and well organized
    • Extensive scheduling experience in multiple time zones

    • Proven success leading teams in situations of ambiguity
