The Engineering team is tasked with developing category-defining products to support underserved Federal Government challenges. Product managers are a key component of our Engineering Department, forming the connection between the department and our stakeholders (including clients, customer success teams, and design teams). You’ll manage project schedules, product backlogs, and recurring reports to make sure that leadership, clientele, and our teams are all marching towards the same goals.

Product managers further the vision by creating product roadmaps, program backlogs, cost/benefit analyses, and establishing acceptance criteria. They take the visions for each product to develop user stories, and manage the transition of these stories through the design, development, and testing teams.

Product managers also work to ensure our users enjoy using our products. Including User Acceptance Testing, metric tracking, and stakeholder interviews. Touch base directly with our clients and users to understand how they perceive our products, discover their pain points, and ensure we are exceeding their expectations. Moreover, the role supports internal initiatives to build out Agile, DevSecOps, and Scrum processes to provide world-class product delivery.

Position Details & Benefits:

  • Total Compensation up to $140,000 commensurate with fit

Qualification & Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years managing products for a software development organization OR supporting Federal client services at a top, a multinational consulting firm in product development/software implementation.
  • Maintain the roadmap and backlog for one or more Agile teams, working closely with the Lead Product Manager, various Stakeholders, Project Managers, and Engineering Leads. This includes defining and managing Epics, Features, Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and performing User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and KPIs, by creating product analysis, product requirements, incremental delivery planning, solution oversight, user adoption plans, and post-launch improvements.
  • Work to become an expert in the product, customer workflows, and business context to help ensure a high-quality product.
  • Facilitating requirements gathering meetings, user story transitions, daily scrums, stand-ups, and retrospectives while actively removing project obstacles.
  • Establishing strong relationships with management, engineering, and customers to discover how to build delightful products.
  • Identifying gaps and implementing new processes and best practices to align with leading Agile, DevSecOps, and Scrum techniques.
  • Utilize modern SaaS tools to maximize team productivity (we use Jira, Slack, and GSuite).
