You will be responsible for using data to identify process vulnerabilities and general optimization opportunities. The ability to take large data sets and transform them into actionable business recommendations will be paramount to success in this role.

  • Work with business partners to identify key metrics, how to improve them, and establish perpetual tracking methods
  • Work with engineers and product managers to set data tracking requirements

  • Proactively present insights to help our customers and business based on a deep understanding of operations
  • Deep dives on a wide range of processes in order to identify the biggest opportunities for optimization
  • Be creative and explore data for impactful business insights

What you bring to the role

  • Ability to present stakeholders with clear, accurate, and impactful recommendations based on data
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working analytics or data science
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with querying large databases
  • Proactive and professional communication in all settings
  • Ability to connect the dots between data and business impact
  • Comfortable working with and combining data across many different data sources
  • Expertise with developing and maintaining compelling data visualizations
  • Passion for learning and growing analytical and process improvement skillset
  • Flexibility in being able to quickly pivot between tasks when necessary

Compensation – At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the U.S. The base salary for this position spans $69,00 – $82,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the U.S., their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall total rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonuses, commissions, and equity may be offered. In compliance with applicable laws, we do not inquire about salary history, or about criminal history prior to a conditional offer of employment.
