We’re looking for a HR Strategy Director to help establish and drive Procore’s global talent strategy and key initiatives that unlock the potential of our people in support of company goals. This role will serve as both a strategist and support execution of key cross-functional people programs and projects.

This position will report to our Chief of Staff, Global Talent Organization and has the opportunity to work remotely or be based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA, or any of our U.S. offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the Chief of Staff and Global Talent Organization leadership to develop and continually refine our multi-year strategy and execution plan in support of key business objectives
  • Develop and leverage KPIs to measure and drive accountability to delivery of our strategy and improvement of our operational effectiveness
  • Analyze metrics/trends, and surface feedback from across the organization to identify opportunities and make recommendations to optimize our strategy, processes, and operations
  • Create impactful visual materials for executive level presentations, leveraging data and business context to tell a compelling story
  • Serve as a thought partner, collaborator, and strategic consultant to the Global Talent Organization leadership team as they build their individual team strategies and roadmaps
  • Manage a portfolio of large-scale, cross-functional strategic initiatives across a variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to:
    • Occasional project management facilitation
    • Identifying, documenting, and tracking risks and proactively and driving mitigation
    • Ensuring quality of deliverables and measuring impact
    • Leading the process of developing key objectives and deliverables
  • Support development and delivery of large-scale change management of key Global Talent Organization initiatives, both  internal to the org and across the business
  • Be a champion for our GTO mission of building a high-performing, healthy company that scales and look for ways to embed that in everything we do

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in a professional HR role or management consultant focused on human capital, or related field
  • Bachelors degree required; Human Resources Management, Business Administration / Management, Organizational Psychology, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as creative, innovative, and big-picture thinker
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, resilient, and adaptable
  • Strong partnership mindset with ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all areas of the business
  • Seen as a trusted advisor at all levels of the organization, from senior leadership to peers
  • In depth understanding of  business goals and people dynamics needed to build a strong talent strategy
  • An instinctive influencer – able to influence with or without positional authority
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate associated insights to executive audiences
  • Expert level communications skills (written / verbal) with ability build clear resonant materials to tell a story that drives understanding
  • Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills that enable on-time, high-quality project delivery while managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to inquire and build with ego-less curiosity
  • Lead with a global, business-first mindset

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $176,000-$242,000.
