What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter to join our team as an HR & Accounting Clerk. You’re energetic and have a passion for numbers, spreadsheets, and helping build our team. You’ll report directly to the Chief of Staff and be responsible for tracking all finances and paying out partners, as well as general operational tasks like sourcing, recruiting and ad hoc research projects. We’re looking for a long-term employee with a solid understanding of accounting principles and QuickBooks experience. This is an opportunity to join a startup on the ground floor.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and book monthly revenue, expenses, and accruals
  • Reconcile and process all vendor and partner payments
  • Enter journal entries & complete monthly reconciliations
  • Prepare budget v actual reports
  • Prepare adoption reports and other ad hoc financial reports
  • Recruiting and sourcing candidates as well as arranging interviews
  • Ad hoc research and operational projects

Requirements

Base Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Prior bookkeeping / accounting experience
  • 2+ years of Quickbooks experience
  • Ability to work independently
