How you’ll make an impact:
- Own development and communication of the long-term vision, goals, and roadmap for the integrated growth marketing strategy for SafeBase
- Own the pipeline number to define our demand generation strategy and channel mix to drive net new logo acquisition and marketing sourced revenue
- Leverage your deep knowledge of demand generation tactics such as paid social, SEO/SEMm email marketing, nurturing, webinars, field, partner marketing, PR, and tactics not yet thought of, to create a campaign calendar that continually draws future customers to SafeBase.
- Manage the demand generation team including campaign management, marketing ops, and events.
- Own the handoff between marketing and sales to ensure full-funnel optimizations across the customer journey from lead to close
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify customer needs and creative opportunities for growth
- Own the metrics. Set the KPIs and metrics that define measurable success across the marketing organization, execute on initiatives to hit goals, and partner with exec team to share with the board
- Collaborate with product marketing on nailing our messaging, and GTM plans for new products, verticals, and personas
- Work closely with brand and design to make sure each touchpoint on the customer journey tells the right story, to the right audience, at the right time
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing or demand generation in a start-up environment
- 3+ years managing a high performing demand generation or product marketing team
- Experience setting and managing marketing budgets
- Direct experience managing paid social, SEM/SEO, email marketing, webinars or other on-the-ground demand generation strategies
- Previous experience hiring, assessing, and managing contractors or agencies
- Comfort with both the qualitative and quantitative sides – you can think through a quarterly campaign and large data sets
- Hunger to learn and expand your skill-set
- Extreme comfort working cross-functionally with sales, product management, finance, Customer Success, and other teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to haves:
- Experience at a B2B SaaS startup. Even better: Familiarity in the cybersecurity/compliance realm.
- Experience in a quantitative and/or strategy role
