We are looking for a motivated and thorough materials management expert to join our Global Logistics & Asset Management team as a Global Spare Parts Planner. Reporting to the Manager, Materials Management, the Global Spare Parts Planner can be based either remotely or in one of our offices.  You will support materials management controls that support data center deployments globally.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Perform accurate Planning for all on-site spare parts and ancillary equipment for data center on-site requirements and place internal orders (IO’s) accordingly to avoid any stock outages
  • Support Data Center operations to open, maintain and ensure accuracy of inbound orders  based on RMA units
  • Collaborate with Capacity Planning, Deployment Management and Logistics to determine spare part requirements and placement based on SLA requirements (What to keep on site vs in a regional warehouse)
  • Alongside logistics and inventory team, work on disposition and processing of excess, end of life and scrap inventory with external ITAD partners to ensure space allocation
  • Fully versed and proficient in inventory management within ERP environments
  • Provide weekly availability of spare parts, options and consumables against backlog utilizing reports from Coupa and dctrack
  • Provide weekly availability of spare parts against backlog to internal stakeholders
  • Work with DC Operations and historical usage rates to develop Min/Max levels at each data center that is aligned to the DC’s specific needs

What We’ll Expect From You: 

  • Readiness to deal with the changing landscape/scope of work as issues arise
  • Absolute meticulous attention to detail and a deep desire to keep accurate records
  • 2+ years of minimum experience in spare parts or materials planning
  • Knowledge of data centers and/or usage and life cycles of high-tech spares
  • Expert in Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Exercise judgment to balance introducing process and becoming a bottleneck
  • Resourceful and adaptable in a rapidly growing environment
  • Exposure to—or interest in—cloud services, data center, networking and various types of server technology would be a plus

  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
