The Financial Systems Administrator 3 is responsible for designing implementing monitoring configuring troubleshooting and maintaining financial systems.
What you will be doing
- Execute on projects involving complex installations, upgrades and modernization of financial systems
- Respond to requests related to complex financial systems
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve financial system issues in a timely manner with minimal oversight; apply extensive experience and best practice knowledge in problem resolution
- Perform moderately complex to complex financial systems maintenance
- Compose internal documentation with minimal oversight from team members that reflects processes and system configurations
- Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies; remain current on best practices and market trends
- Identify need to implement additional functionality in current systems and for new technology purchases
- Assist with the creation of proposals on technical specifications and requirements for purchasing of new financial systems
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on technical abilities of team
What will make you successful
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Significant experience as a systems administrator
- Experience with Workday Financials and/or Zoura RevPro
- 5 years of Experience with accounting or financial reporting
- Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
- Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
- Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, financial statements and internal controls
- Strong knowledge of systems administration
- Up to 5% travel time required
- Based on individual states’ employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $84,000-$105,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits
