As the Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO, your focus will be driving forward productivity, optimizing for efficiency, anticipating needs, and proactively solving issues before they become problems. This role will report to the Chief of Staff to the CEO. Additional responsibilities that fall under your purview are: improvement and maintenance of our culture, aiding in administrative tasks across the organization such as: event planning, company-wide meeting preparation – including presentation materials, and supporting the remainder of the executive team with administrative requests.

 

This role is based in the New York Metropolitan Area (NY, NJ, CT). Commutable distance to Manhattan is required. We may assign some in-person duties in the NYC Metro Area including a hybrid in-office schedule.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Proactively managing the CEO’s calendar, meetings, and correspondence
  • Booking travel, accommodations, reservations as needed for the CEO and executive team events
  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff to align the CEO’s work and week to the goals and necessary outcomes
  • Working with the broader Senior Leadership team on behalf of the CEO for scheduling and following up on outstanding items
  • Key event planner for company-wide events and leadership team offsites, coordinating all the venues and details to make an amazing employee experience
  • Partner with the People team to create and host cultural events and recognition opportunities for our Krew
  • Driving forward ad-hoc projects and work as needed
  • Working with teams to facilitate Kustomer events across Kustomer including Sales, Talent, and Marketing
  • Coordinating with our Investors to coordinate board meetings and other interactions with our leadership
  • Assisting other executives with travel, expenses, and other ad-hoc projects

 

Your qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant to the CEO
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Track record of evolving time management skills and improving the value provided to your executives
  • Incredibly detail oriented, capable of driving forward multiple projects/tasks in parallel
  • Stellar communication skills – written and verbal – and used to communicating with all levels of an organization
  • Proactive in your thinking, anticipating needs and providing solutions before issues arise
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and quickly changing priorities and context switching
  • Builds strong relationships across any company you are a part of to create a network and trust with team members
