FanDuel Group is looking for an Associate of VIP Events to support the VIP hospitality and event offering. As the Associate of VIP events, you will be managing the portfolio of hospitality assets as well as assisting with the planning and delivery of VIP events. Your role will create opportunities to both reward customers and deliver events which allow account managers to have direct interaction with our most valuable players. This includes planning, coordinating, and execution.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

- Plan and deliver on VIP events with the support of Key Stakeholders
- Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders, various departments and suppliers while effectively communicating any information necessary to successfully execute the event needs and maintain a good relationship
- Conduct research to find best fit venues, entertainment providers and accommodations
- Support in person events to ensure executional efficiency in conjunction with others
- Act as the primary liaison for cross-product teams to align event strategies with company goals
- Collect post event data to create post event summaries with details of areas of success and improvement
- Ownership of event management for account manager led events, with knowledge of event production, payments and payment processing
- Ownership of asana VIP event requests board to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of VIP event planning
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovative event solutions
- Other duties as required to support business needs
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate
- 2 – 4 years of experience in high end event planning preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in managing budgets, vendor communication/negotiation and event assets
- Confident and people focused personality
- Ability to work well with other departments to ensure events are carried out successfully
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with Excel
- Proficient in event management software tools (Cvent, Asana, splash, salesforce, SharePoint, etc)
- Strives to meet targets and deadlines
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work on multiple events at a time
- Intuitive / Problem Solver. Able to adapt in certain situations. Someone who is proactive and willing to test ideas, constantly looking for ways to enhance and stay ahead of the competition
- Willing and able to work non-traditional business hours
- Travel for this role is expected to be around 30%, weekdays and weekends included
