As an Engineering Director, you will combine technical excellence and team effectiveness to drive outcomes for Jasper customers. You will spend time in system and technical design, and have architectural oversight over evolving Jasper’s multi-modal AI platform. This is a pivotal role, setting the technical direction with engineering and company leadership. You will be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code into production multiple times a day.

 

This fully remote role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

  • Define the technical vision, system design, architecture, product development, and scope to deliver on customer outcomes and company mission
  • Lead large-sized business-critical projects from initiation to ongoing improvement
  • Ability to be hands-on when needed to shape the product and technology
  • Define and communicate product and technical strategy with diverse audiences
  • Be a trusted voice of Jasper technically and drive innovation in the fields of AI and Marketing

 

What you will bring to Jasper

  • 10+ years of experience in product delivery and system design
  • Deep technical expertise across multiple domains (AI, Cloud, application platforms, etc)
  • Extensive experience with architecture and system design
  • Significant autonomy and independence spanning short-term and long-term strategic projects
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale business critical projects

 

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $250,000 – $310,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
