We are looking for an experienced email strategist to join our team as an Email Strategy Manager on the Enterprise Team. You will maximize the client recognized value through Attentive’s email offering for Enterprise clients and advise their program strategy in a consultative and data-driven fashion. Your core responsibility will be working with our Client Strategy Managers and customers as a trusted consultant advising on email marketing strategy, best practices and feature functionality. In addition to our Client Strategy Managers, you will work in close coordination with Sales, Implementation Specialists, and Technical Account Managers to provide maximum value for your clients, while retaining and growing revenue for Attentive. You will be responsible for accurate renewal forecasting, understanding customers goals and implementing tailored success plans to meet and exceed client targets.

    • Serve as an email marketing expert to drive the desired results for a clients multi-channel strategy in close partnership with our Client Strategy Managers
    • Analyze and monitor program KPI’s and health metrics to proactively advise on the continued improvement and health of a clients email program
    • Act as the first point of contact in resolving and/or escalating technical blockers or incidents preventing your clients from achieving success
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and the broader email landscape – staying up to date on industry trends and best practices
    • Help in the continued development and roll out of Attentive’s email best practices
    • Collect customer feedback as well as your own experience to influence the product development cycle as well as specific product requirements
    • Accurately forecast renewals and escalate client risk
    • Contribute to the continued development of the Attentive Customer experience

About you

    • 3-5 years of account management experience required (ideally at ESPs, etc)
    • Strong product vision and knowledge of the inner workings of the email ecosystem; experience with email deliverability a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to strengthen the relationship with existing customers (e.g. turning detractors to promoters, developing Attentive “champions”) and proactively getting ahead of risks that could impact customer retention
    • Experience with HTML/CSS, APIs, SFTP, webhooks and platforms often integrated with the leading ESPs
    • Thrive in a fast paced, innovative work environment

For US based applicants:
– The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,000 – $100,000 annually + bonus/commission + equity + benefits
– Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
