You will:

  • Manage and build out the billing and customer operations team & function
  • Coordinate across multiple departments and stakeholders to formalize processes and policies
  • Partner with the Sales & Accounts teams to optimize the quote to cash process
  • Build out and continually optimize the AR / Collections Process, reducing DSO
  • Own the Billing and Orders ticket queues
    • Build & maintain reporting to increase visibility and decrease ticket time to close.
    • Manage and analyze ticket data to provide suggestions to drive improvements across our processes and policies.
  • Compile and analyze billing and order data to monitor performance and provide reports to management
  • Facilitate timely and accurate billings for all customers
  • Help inform product changes to improve the customer experience around billings, orders, and payments
  • Partner with Accounting as needed for reporting and reconciliation
  • Help with Sales Tax recon and Tax Exempt management in Avalara
  • Build out, maintain, and publish Rockbot Billing & Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Lead monthly and quarterly audits
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement on a continued basis

You have:

  • Operations/Billing/Orders: 10+ years of experience in order and billing operations or related fields.
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years in a managerial or director-level role, where you have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Order to Cash Process Expertise: Extensive experience in the Order to Cash cycle, including order management, billing, and collections.
  • NetSuite Experience: Significant hands-on experience with NetSuite (3+ years) including implementation, customization, and optimization of NetSuite for Order to Cash processes.
  • Experience with large-scale processes serving and scaling tens of thousands of customers.
  • Experience with multiple product and revenue streams.
  • Experience with these systems preferred: Salesforce, Avalara, Paystand, PandaDoc, ZenDesk.
  • A Builder’s mentality.

Compensation:

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $140K to $165K plus equity, and benefits for all team members.
