This position will be responsible for managing a growing number of sales and technology partnerships. The partners span across social media, enterprise video content management platforms, virtual event/webinar solutions, and employee communications and collaboration platforms. We want someone with the entrepreneurial and strategic drive to turn this channel into a meaningful revenue lane for Socialive in 2021 and beyond.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

This person will initially report into the CEO and will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage an existing set of partnerships with different structures (co-marketing, referral-based, co-sell and technology integration)
  • Help prioritize partnerships by market opportunity
  • Continue to develop go-to-market and commercial structures with these partners
  • Evaluate, assess and refine partnership structures as they scale
  • Identify and explore new partner opportunities across existing and newly identified market segments
  • Work closed with Socialive Sales team to deliver sales leads through partner referral engine or through co-selling
  • Work closely with Socialive Marketing team to develop and execute strong co-marketing plans that breed desired results
  • Work closely with Socialive Product and Engineering to prioritize and where appropriate monetize technology integrations
  • Manage commercial outcomes with these partners, keeping strong eye on ROI of our efforts
  • Communicate, and develop quantitative business cases for partner success (pricing models, partner support, etc)
  • Conduct competitive analysis so that you (and the company) remain informed about the competitive landscape (use this information to inform your portfolio plans and establish meaningful market differentiators)

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in SaaS space in a business development and/or channel partnership function
  • Hunger for driving real revenue and scale through partner operations
  • Commercial instincts combined with strong analytical skills to analyze, refine and deploy commercial and operational structures with partners that work for everyone
  • Fantastic partner/customer-facing skills and approach
  • Strong inter-departmental communication and problem solving skills
  • An ability to combine strategy with excellent execution skills
  • Passion for the Socialive mission

Compensation:

Commensurate with market, an attractive compensation package will consist of a base salary, commission plus equity upside opportunity.
