We are looking for a Director of Accounting to join our Finance team!
Responsibilities
·       Assist the VP of Accounting in the management of all accounting operations including A/P, GL, Commissions and Revenue Recognition.
·       Coordinates monthly or annual closing workflow with applicable departments adhering to required deadlines
·       Assists in preparation and distribution of financial statements and various regulatory and bank compliance reporting.
·       Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
·       Supervises and participates in continuous improvement efforts
·       Establishes and maintains documented accounting policies and procedures.
·       Lead accounting integration efforts for future potential acquisitions including accounting system migration and standardization of policies and procedures
·       Oversee the training and development of finance staff and delegate duties and authority to meet departmental and organizational goals.
Key Skills:
·       Bachelor’s Degree related to Accounting
·       CPA required
·       Minimum of 6 + years of accounting experience in a SaaS Company or 4+ years in public accounting
·       Strong knowledge of US GAAP
·       Experience with process optimization and drive for continuous improvement
·       Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
·       Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
·       Experience with acquisitions and integrations including accounting for acquisitions and purchase price accounting is preferred
·       Excellent leadership and team building skills
