As Director of Growth Product, you are responsible for optimizing Seed’s web funnel conversion rate. You will accomplish this through your incredible ability to produce impactful experiments, which you identify and prioritize through world class analysis, customer insights, and research. You will collaborate with a variety of disciplines from brand to marketing to data to engineering to bring to bear a funnel that is highly performant and brand-elevating. Along with your growing impact, you will build a team that expands Growth Product’s reach and results, taking Seed’s customer journey to new heights and levels of impact.

Who you are:

  • You have 7+ years of experience scaling Growth experiences in collaboration with Engineering, Product, Care, Brand and internal stakeholders, ideally for a consumer subscription product
  • You have exceptional strategic and analytical skills and are able to apply those to prioritization
  • Bonus if you have built an ecommerce, international, or subscription experience with significant scale from <10MM to 250MM+
  • You’re data driven––you use data to make decisions and when you don’t have data, you search for anecdotal and qualitative information to gain insights
  • You always ask why and are obsessive about understanding and creatively meeting the user needs
  • You constantly think about the best way to get an MVP into the user’s hands and find a pathway to iterate, improve and deliver more value
  • You have a proven track record of setting a plan and managing to it, especially in fast-paced, agile environments
  • You’re familiar with data technologies including SQL, Tableau, Looker, Segment, Amplitude, or similar
  • You have strong project management skills, and you’re able to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage stakeholder interests and prioritize requirements that drive the highest impact and value

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead web funnel conversion rate and landing page optimization efforts at Seed
  • Develop a build, measure, learn cycle that is world-class in quality, rigor, and velocity
  • Leverage Seed’s brand as a performance-enhancing asset that increases CVR gains
  • Extract insights from experimentation, funnel + product data, user interviews, and category research to develop highly insightful and effective experiments
  • Prioritize and scope high impact, performance-improving initiatives with high quality documentation and management
  • Identify and optimize process bottlenecks limiting experimentation throughput
  • Deeply analyze customer path to conversion to drive sustaining funnel improvements
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing to produce audience and cohort-specific landing pages
  • Level-up the Growth organization’s experimentation mindset and ability to prioritize
  • Collaborate with Expansion Product + Member Product squads on product and retention initiatives
  • Build, scale and lead a world class Growth Product team


The annual pay range for this full-time position is $180-200k along with equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US).
