Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead the digital build-out of sales and estimation capabilities within our digital platform. This role is pivotal in developing customer-facing digital tools to streamline and enhance workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and cross-functional teams to define the roadmap, prioritize features, and manage user stories for seamless execution. A data-informed approach, customer-centric focus, cross-discipline collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Delivery Management: Collaborate with development teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of digital capabilities. Define requirements, author user stories, prioritize features, manage sprints, execute user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure high-quality product releases. Roadmap and Strategy: Work with the Digital Team to define and maintain the product roadmap for B2B eCommerce. Align business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility. Develop a comprehensive roadmap outlining strategic vision and milestones for digital tools tailored to roofing contractors. Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and customer feedback to iterate and improve digital tools. Stay informed on industry best practices and integrate them into product development. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, SMEs, and development teams to gather and refine requirements. Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure clarity and consensus on product goals and deliverables. Present updates, roadmap plans, and key metrics to leadership and stakeholders. Foster collaboration with internal teams, ERP, and field organizations (Sales, Operations, & Branch Associates) to integrate digital solutions seamlessly. Product Development: Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Prioritize backlogs and collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to deliver features on time and within scope. Coordinate sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of incremental value. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value propositions that address the unique needs of the roofing sector. Customer-Centric Focus: Analyze customer feedback, pain points, and usage data to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with customer support, sales, and marketing teams to drive product adoption and satisfaction. Conduct market research and engage with roofing contractors and internal stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategies and requirements. Technical Collaboration: Work with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with ERP systems and third-party applications. Identify and address risks related to technical dependencies and platform scalability. Qualifications and Skills Required: 35 years of experience as a Product Manager in B2B eCommerce, with expertise in web and native mobile product development. Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies. Proficiency with product development tools. Ability to translate business needs into actionable user stories and technical requirements. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in product management or customer experience, with a focus on digital tools for the construction or roofing industry. In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology. Technical background with an understanding of software development and web technologies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Demonstrated success managing end-to-end product lifecycles and delivering impactful digital solutions.
