We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Delivery Loop Team, which is part of our Developer Productivity Pillar. You’ll be responsible for how Webflow engineers build, test, and deliver value to our customers. This year, we have exciting opportunities to help drastically reduce cycle time by 50% or more for Webflow engineers!

  • The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We’ve structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
    • United States  (all figures cited below in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)
      • Zone A: $134,000 – $181,000
      • Zone B: $126,000 – $170,000
      • Zone C: $118,000 – $159,000
    • Canada  (All figures cited below in CAD and pertain to workers in ON & BC, Canada)
      • $152,000 – $205,500

As a DevOps Engineer, Delivery Loop, you’ll …

  • Participate in implementation and maintenance of Webflow’s build system, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Contribute to the configuration and management of multiple development environments, providing guidance to ensure consistency across teams and environments.
  • Collaborate in defining and enforcing development processes and best practices to improve efficiency and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the deployment strategy for production environments, implementing robust rollback mechanisms and monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization in pre-production environments.
  • Stay current with emerging DevOps trends and technologies, participate in evaluating and implementing new tools to enhance the development workflow.

About you

  • Have 2-5 years of experience deploying and managing large-scale Node.js applications in production environments, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
  • Possess a good understanding of cloud-native services like AWS.
  • Have a general understanding of how CI/CD pipelines can be tailored for Node.js projects, integrating automated testing and deployment processes.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can apply your past experience to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the development and deployment workflows.
  • Are passionate about sharing your knowledge and mentoring team members to foster a culture of learning and excellence within the DevOps team.
  • Possess a proactive mindset, always seeking opportunities to optimize processes, enhance system reliability, and improve the overall efficiency of the development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Pulumi for managing cloud resources.
  • Have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing support and guidance on DevOps practices.
