As a  Demand Planner you will be responsible for aligning with our Strategic Operations team to manage the daily and weekly demand planning activities. You will be core in helping to shape Gooten’s Planning and Forecasting department. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and execution of forecasting and decision models through a strong combination of statistical, business intelligence, and market and industry trend analysis. You’ll be a critical voice on the Operations team and provide context and perspective for data-driven decision-making.

.How you’ll power eCommerce:

  • Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts while helping reduce operational costs, and minimize forecast variability
  • Analyze forecast vs actual to calculate forecast errors and highlight high-variance SKUs & Partners
  • Responsible for developing, sharing, and monitoring end-to-end demand plans, and providing timely forecast analysis necessary for appropriate decision-making
  • Accumulate the partner-level forecast inputs and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Growth to create appropriate assumptions to make a proposed demand plan for demand review meeting
  • Building relationships with our vendors by providing SKU-level forecasts on a regular cadence
  • Building relationship with Gooten’s partners to understand their marketing and promotion plan
  • Identify pre-season and in-season forecast risks to develop effective and flexible mitigation strategies and to proactively alert stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally to accurately reflect recent trends and achieve continuous improvement in demand forecast accuracy, and other demand planning measures

You should have:

  • 2- 5 years of experience in product forecasting
  • Extremely proficient in  Excel MS Office and Google Suite
  • Written and oral English proficiency

Bonus points!

  • Experience in SQL, Tableau, Thoughtspot, Snowflake
  • Experience in Demand  and Supply Planning, Inventory management
